Home-based job with ~50% Domestic & International Travel
Preferred Location: New Jersey, Florida, Houston, New Orleans or near a major airport hub
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and able to obtain a TWIC card
Key Responsibilities
- Commission, service, and troubleshoot marine water treatment systems
- Provide technical support to ship crews and clients
- Prepare detailed service and compliance reports
- Conduct onboard inspections, preventive maintenance, and hands-on repairs
- Occasionally provide remote support via phone or email when not traveling
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on technical experience. Marine engineering background preferred.
- Naval/Marine/Offshore/Maritime experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with: Industrial process control systems, PLCs (experience is a plus), Pumps, filters, automated valves, Flow, pressure, temperature, and analytical instrumentation
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and P&ID diagrams
- Strong communication skills for working with multilingual ship crews
- Excellent technical writing ability for regulatory and client reporting
